Randall Sorrell
Randall V. Sorrell

Mr. Sorrell, a 1974 graduate of Blue River Valley High School, holds a B.S. and M.A. in Political Science from Ball State University, and a J.D. from Oral Roberts University. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1984, and is entering his 30th year as a practicing attorney. Mr. Sorrell is also town attorney for the town of Ingalls in Madison County and board attorney for the Hancock County Drainage Board. Mr. Sorrell practices in the areas of criminal defense, family law, personal injury, business law, wills and estates, contract law, and local government law.

Peter Capofari

Pete is a merit scholarship recipient and graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law, located in Miami, Florida. He is admitted to the bar in the states of Indiana, New York, and Florida. Pete was a former partner of Capofari Law, P.C., located in Staten Island, New York, where he handled criminal law, family law, and elder law matters. Prior to his partnership in Capofari Law, P.C., he worked for two civil legal practices focused in the areas of family law and estate planning. Pete has extensive experience in criminal law and handles family law issues, including divorce and custody issues. A bulk of Pete’s legal work is in the area of elder law, estate planning, and special needs planning.

 

Pete and his family live in Fishers, Indiana. As a former Army brat, this is the sixth state that Pete has lived in. “I am extremely glad to call myself a Hoosier. There is a humbleness of the people here that I appreciate, an excellent school system, and an outstanding quality of life.” In his free time Pete enjoys spending time with his wife, Abby, and running around with their three kids. Pete and his family are members of Holy Spirit Parish at Geist.

Carey York

Carey D. York is an attorney with experience in all types of legal matters, but specializing in criminal defense. Prior to joining Sorrell & Associates, Carey spent nearly eleven years at the Marion County Public Defender Agency, more than half of that time as a supervising attorney. A veteran of over one hundred jury and bench trials, Carey has tried cases all over central Indiana.

 

Carey is a life-long resident of Indiana and a graduate of Indiana University, both bachelor’s and doctor of jurisprudence. He lives in Lawrence, with his wife and two children. He’s active in the Indianapolis Bar Association and a board member of the Oaklandon Little League. When not in court or the office, he’s probably spending time with his family or watching the Chicago Cubs, his favorite pastime.
